Best Educational Institution’ at the TIGA Games Industry Awards 2019

The University of Hertfordshire has won ‘Best Educational Institution’ at the TIGA Games Industry Awards 2019, the UK’s most prestigious celebration of the video games industry.
Held at The Natural History Museum on 7 November, the University of Hertfordshire beat 10 other institutions competing in this category. The awards, organised by TIGA, uniquely recognises excellence in games development, business and education and celebrates the achievements of both small and large games development studios.

Over the past few years, the University of Hertfordshire has been driving computer games graphics in new directions on the 3D Games Art & Design course, which has helped it to gain recognition from industry and go onto win lots of awards, to say I am proud of the staff and students at the University of Hertfordshire is an understatement.
